Dascha L. Bright
I studied Black and White photography at the University of Delaware 1992-1995. I enjoy capturing abstract images of found objects, both out in nature and indoors. I use a Pentax ZX-7 for my 35mm work. After several years without darkroom access, I signed up for a refresher class via the University of Washington's Extension program in the Summer of 2002. In 2003, I bought my first digital camera, a Nikon Coolpix 4300 and have been exploring that medium with my trusty HP printer. In the fall of 2003, I discovered the darkrooms at 1426 S. Jackson St. Studios and have been happily printing Black and Whites once again. In September of 2004 I purchased a Holga 120 SF and have fetched some surprising results from this all-plastic, medium format camera!
