Nan Johnson
Nan's current work, using oil paint and new motifs, still, as Frances McCue stated in her Seattle Times review of her show at Solomon Fine Art in 2002, "exudes a joy for composition and rich surfaces".

A Washington native, Nan graduated with a Master's Degree from the University of Washington. She has been represented by the Woodsid/Braseth Gallery, Ballard Fetherston Gallery and Solomon Fine Art.

Exhibiting nationally and locally, her latest showing in September 2004 was in Chicago at the Woman Made Gallery.

"This painting is part of my Meditation series. The pattern of objects floating on different planes represents ideas as they travel through your mind, uniting and weaving through space, creating a mood that describes a particular meditation session."
